NL Gold Glove winners announced

The National League’s Gold Glove Award winners were announced this afternoon and former Angels catcher Bengie Molina is no longer the only one in the family with a Gold Glove. Little brother Yadier of the Cardinals was named the top fielding catcher in the N.L. for 2008.

2B Brandon Phillips, Cin

3B David Wright, NYM

SS Jimmy Rollins, Phil

OF Carlos Beltran, NYM

OF Nate McLouth, Pit

OF Shane Victorino, Phil

The American League team will be announced Thursday afternoon. Angels outfielder Torii Hunter won each of the past seven seasons with the Minnesota Twins.
