Ex-Angel Colon has run out of Sox

The Chicago White Sox official site reports the club has asked release waivers on right-hander Bartolo Colon.
Colon, 36, was 3-6 with a 4.19 ERA in 12 starts for Chicago this season. He has not pitched since July 24 because of right-elbow inflammation.
