If you’ve gone for a surf early in the morning in the last few weeks in this neck of the woods, then I’m sure you’ve had a hard time getting motivated. I know I have especially when the air temperature is in the low 40’s at the crack of dawn.
Now can you imagine showing up on the sand to find snow on the ground with howling offshore winds, an air temp in the 20’s and a water temperature in the high 30’s or low 40’s…No thanks!! Well maybe things aren’t so bad on the West Coast.
Just recently I came across some photos of a group of die hard East Coast surfers who scored some amazing waves, but they had to deal with some pretty hellish conditions. Enjoy!!
