There, you pay a set price to fill a box with as many potato toy parts as you can fit.

This week, we’ve got tips for getting the most out of your Tater-making experience.

  • Buy the Mr. Potato Head body somewhere else. At Disney, shoppers fill a box with as many Mr. Potato Head pieces as possible. Don’t waste space filling it with a Mr. Potato Head; save room for the Disney exclusive parts. Instead, buy a generic Mr. Potato Head base (they sell for about $6 at Target) so you’ll have more room for Disney pieces.
  • If you must buy a Mr. Potato Head body at Disney, remember to fill the body with pieces. The back of the Mr. Potato Head opens up, allowing pieces to fit inside.
  • Remember to get a set or two of arms. The arms that can be purchased at Disney are specialized to hold Disney items unlike standard Mr. Potato Head arms.
  • Figure out how many pieces you want. For about $20, you can fill the regular size box, or for about $45, choose the large size box.
