Many people herald John Lasseter as the mastermind behind Pixar classics like “Toy Story” and “Cars” for his talents in bringing innovation to animation. But Lasseter has a few other hidden talents too — singing, dancing and even playing the tambourine.
Lasseter revealed these talents during Sunday afternoon’s performance of “Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee!” along the banks of the Rivers of America.
Disney randomly selects guests to participate in each performance by waving flags, playing musical instruments, or holding props. But for this performance, Lasseter and his family, including wife Nancy, were featured.

Among Lasseter’s responsibilities as a performer in the show was waving a musical note and donning a yellow gospel robe, all of which were done with great enthusiasm.
Lasseter, who is the chief creative officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, is the executive producer of “The Princess and the Frog,” which appears in theaters on December 11.
