If you’ve visited Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion and wanted some of those flickering candles in your home, you’re in luck.
Candella LLC in Newport Beach has bought the worldwide rights from Disney to develop and sell those rechargeable, false flames.
Disney couldn’t have open flames flickering continually in the parlor, so Imagineer Gary Schnuckle created these LED candles specifically for the Haunted Mansion.
But the false flame’s random movement and other details that make it realistic is more difficult than you’d think, which is why the flame illusion has numerous patents.
The product, called Dream Candles, will be on the market by May at a price comparable to other LED candles.
