Listen, harried parents, I really do sympathize with you.
There have been plenty of times I’ve plunked my kids in front of the TV so I could get a little rest.
But, if you do it, like everyone does, just don’t kid yourself that watching the boob tube is “educational.”
The Walt Disney Co. is even tacitly admitting as much, offering refunds now to parents who bought Baby Einstein videos since 2004 with the idea that their kids would become smarter.
