Wednesday, November 25, 2009

Co-authors David Smith and Nancy Temple Rodrigue plan to sign their novel based on Walt Disney’s life at a Downtown Disney event on Saturday.

The book, “Hidden Mickey,” is described as an action-adventure novel featuring characters that find a long-lost diary of Walt Disney with clues, prompting them to embark on a cross-country search.

Smith is a former Garden Grove Unified School District teacher and Disneyland employee. Rodrigue of Lompoc also used to work at Disneyland, where the co-authors met.

The book-signing event is set for 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Compass Books and Cafe in Downtown Disney.
